God's Simple Plan of Salvation
1. Recognize that you need to be saved:
For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. - Romans 3:23
2. Realize that you cannot save yourself:
For by grace are ye saved through faith; that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God; not of works, lest any man should boast. - Ephesians 2:8-9
3. Believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross to forgive you of your sins:
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. - John 3:16
4. Through prayer, repent (turn from) your sins and ask Jesus to come in and control your life:
God be merciful to me a sinner. - Luke 18:13
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. - Romans 10:13
Are you willing to ask Jesus to be your Saviour? Then please ask Him to save your soul in a prayer like this:
Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. I deserve to go to hell. But you said
you would save me if I would call upon you. Please take away all my sins, dear
Lord, and take me to Heaven when I die. Thank you for saving me! Help me now
to live for you. Amen.
